NICOLE MICHAEL
Nicole Michael focuses her practice on complex civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. She has represented clients in disputes involving oil and gas interests, real estate development, banking and finance, mortgage lending, and wealth management.
As a member of Halliburton’s legal team from 2011 until 2015, Nicole was engaged in most aspects of the multidistrict litigation concerning BP’s Macondo well blowout. Prior to law school, Nicole worked in the insurance and risk management division of International Lease Finance Corporation in Los Angeles. She also gained knowledge about the service side of the natural gas industry while working for Atmos Energy in Dallas.
Nicole is passionate about legal research and writing and she has considerable experience with brief writing at the state, federal and appellate court levels.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications, cum laude, at Texas Wesleyan University and her Juris Doctorate at Texas A&M School of Law.
Nicole is a supporter of and advocate for the Dallas arts community and she volunteers her time to help local musicians and artists seeking legal and business advice.
